a little update

My Dad is doing well. He has taken the summer off and is receiving radiation treatments as well as the hormone shots. His wife's Mother is visiting from Taiwan and he is having fun showing her the sights around Vancouver, B.C. He says that so far the only side effects from the radiation is that he is getting very tired.

Sadly, his brother, my Uncle Jerry has passed away. He had prostate cancer for a number of years and it spread. I am glad that he is no longer suffering. He was so loved and will be so missed.

Also, Russ and I just got married on July 12 and now I am living in the good old USA. There are a few things that I miss but this is a fantastic country and I have me a fantastic fella. :o)

I do hope that everyone is having a great summer. I am living in Connecticut now and apparently this is the wettest summer that they have had since 1928! There are wicked thunderstorms almost every day here! It's AWESOME!

Congrats to you and Russ. I am so glad you like your new home. LOL Ohhh It is beautiful in Connecticut But yes they do have some weather.. Winters are Cold. LOL

I'm glad you Dad is is still doing fine and I hope he will continue to get better . I'm sure his Mum will help him to get over the first time missing his gal :)
My Prayers are with your Uncle , may he rest in Gods arms and blessing to his Soul.
And now the happy part ..you two Lovebirds finaly made and I'm wishing you all the Love in the World , which you already have ( just making sure lol ) Blessing to you both..
