a little about ME

THE YEAR WAS 1994 ,,,THE SUMMER BEFORE MY YOUNGEST DAUGHTERS GRADUATION ,,i had taken the weeek off work to go shopping with kelly to get some outfits for her senior pictures later that week and to get my annual pap test and mammo done ,
i had the mamo done at the hospital and everything was ok ..i went o my doctors for my pap test ,,,,,the doctor dd his thing left the room and told me to dress
he came back and told me he found a tumor ,,,(devistation set in ) ,,,he sent me to a specialist and it happened in a few days ..i had the big C,,,a lot happened in the next few days ,,,,test after test ..what we gonna do and i became my familys biggest BITCH ,, i didnt want any hugs ,,i dont wanna hear oh im so sorry ,,,,,,can i do anything for you ,,,NO,,you cant ,,go away and leave me alone !
my cancer was in stage seven , so someone missed this tumor along the way ,,,,i was ANGRY
i wanst nice to anyone ..
well anyway i decided with my docotrs help and i had such a great cancer doctor and surgeon ,,,,,,,to have a complete hysterrectomy ,,,,overies and all ,,,eventhough my overies werent affected ,,i said take them ,,,ill deal ,,i dont want to later come up with ovarian cancer ,,,,,,
i had the surgery and the cancer had spread into my stomach muscles and had to have some of that removed ,,,,,,15 hour surgery ,,,,,,,,and then waited for test to come back and PRAISE GOD ,,,they got all my cancer with surgery ,,,,,,,i never had to have kemo ,,,,,,,,,
i was a lucky girl ..........
i can tell you this much ,,,my body missed my overies ,,and no estrogen ,,,,,,,,i actually plotted to kill some people ,,,lol,,
anyway that my story and the big C ,, i just wanted to tel you all this ,,even though i was the lucky one who,s CANCER is gone ,,,,i havet o have test every year now ,,,,,,,but im clean ,,,,,,
i do knwo some of the emotions you all go through ,,,,,so if ya ever wanna just go off on me and be happy or angry ,,,,,,,,,,,,im here ,,

Wow, Michele, you blew me away with this sad but yet happy bit of news! I praise God for your healing and absence of cancer now. I imagine everyone is touched by someone in their lif who have or has had cancer and I know how hard it is to try to come to the aid of those afflicted for only they know how they feel. My grandmother died of stomach cancer at the age of 96, my mother died of colon cancer at 65, one of my sisters had breast cancer and had a mastectomy so yes I have been close to it and know a little of how it effects a persons outlook on life.
I'm so happy to hear you're having your yearly check ups and staying C free!!

so glad that u are ok now im lost in the words right now its always very touching went we read something like ur story . Uknow prayers and friends help alot to its nice to know went someone is there for u to recomfort ..... no doubt on that

hey john ,,yes GOD has spared me for a reason ,,,,,,,,,,and i have seen many ,,,,,,,5 grown children and expecting my 13th ,,,granchild in 5 weeks ,,,,its a girl ,,,,,,Sophie Ann ,,,,,,,i hope i can be a confort to someone ,,,,,i was spared but know the fear of facing the "C" ,,,,,may GODS LIGHT SHINE UPON ALL OF YOU ,,,,,,LOVE michele

thank you lori ann ,,,YES ,, i have been blessed ,,,,cancer does tend to run inthe ladies side of my moms family ,,,i lost my grandmother to cancr and two aunts and two young cousins ...mytwo cousins died in the past year,,,,,,,,,,,i have 13 brothers and sisters and only twoof us have had cancer ,,,,my sis carroll and i ,,,we are both doing ok ,,,,,thank you lori-ann for your blessing ,,,,,,

i know the feeling les ,,,my kids kinda did that to me ,,,,,,,they would get down in the dumps ,,thats when i finally realized this wasnt just happening to me .it affectd all of my family and my friends ,,,,the roll reversisle is normal les ,,,hang in there ,,,,,,,,,,,im praying for you and your wife and family ,,,,,,,smiles for you ,,,,,

God has indeed Blessed you Michelle, I know in our home emotions have been up and down my wife is good at hiding hers but I am not so good at it and eventually Mary reacts to me being down, yet it is her not I with the cancer, I guess we kinda reverse`rolls a lot.
