It's taken me along time to be able to tell his story..As a mother I get emotional every time I start to think about what all we have been through...BUT FOR THE GRACE OF GOD..For God was with me this day..
My son, Steven who was 20 years old at the time was a Volunteer Firefighter,here at one of the stations in Pensacola...This was his life..Steven loves to help people, he is the most caring and loving person you would want to meet..I will start with his story..

MY VOICE IS BACK....PRAISE THE LORD...NOT VERY STRONG..BUT IT'S BACK...
WE GOT THE TEST RESULTS BACK..IT'S NOT CANCER....I AM TRUELY BLESSED...BUT I DO HAVE A SEVERE INFECTION AROUND THE VOCAL CHORDS AND THE DISC IN MY NECK THAT WERE FUSED..I HAVE TO WEAR THE NECK BRACE FOR ABOUT 2 MORE WEEKS AND THEN THEY WILL GO IN AND DO ANOTHER SET OF MRI'S AND CAT SCAN..
I ASK YOU TO PLEASE PRAY THAT THEY WILL NOT HAVE TO GO BACK IN AND REPLACE THE BONES AGAIN..
THE LAST TIME THEY TOOK SOME OF MY RIGHT HIP…

As most of you know last Friday I woke to no voice...I have been having some real bad neck pains..but just went on trying to not let them get me down..Until Friday.when I couldn't take it no longer..I went to the Doctor and he put me in a hard neck brace..drew fluid from my neck and started antibodics..
My voice was barely a whisper..but feels like it's getting some better..I was on liquid fluids until today..I went this morning at 5:30 for an MRI and Cat Scan..Just got home..my spine is still…
