Just a Biker

I got this today of a friend and it took me back to my Youth , where I lost my first Soulmate cause some Cardriver had to throw his Sodacan out the window and till today I notice this Ignoranz and rudness. It wont bring my Bud back , but maybe some who read this will watch out and see more then just a Biker! JUST A BIKER I saw you; hug your purse closer to you in the grocery store line. But you didn't see me put an extra £10.00 in the collection plate last Sunday.… Continue

FRIENDS

A little girl had been shopping with her Mom in Target. She must have been 6 years old, this beautiful red haired, freckle faced image of innocence. It was pouring outside. The kind of rain that gushes over the top of rain gutters, so much in a hurry to hit the earth it has no time to flow down the spout. We all stood there under the awning and just inside the door of the Target. We waited, some patiently, others irritated because nature messed up their hurried day. I am always mesmerized by ra… Continue

This is so precious ...

This is one of the kindest things you may ever see.. It is not known who replied, but there is a beautiful soul working in the dead letter office of the US postal service. Our 14 year old dog, Abbey, died last month. The day after she died, my 4 year old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey.. She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her. I told her that I thought we could so she dictated these words:… Continue

The Cab Ride

I arrived at the address and honked the horn. After waiting a few minutes I walked to the door and knocked.. 'Just a minute', answered a frail, elderly voice. I could hear something being dragged across the floor. After a long pause, the door opened. A small woman in her 90's stood before me. She was wearing a print dress and a pillbox hat with a veil pinned on it, like somebody out of a 1940's movie. By her side was a small nylon suitcase. Th e apartment looked as if no one had lived in it… Continue

This is really good

Make sure you read as well as listen. This is a video that was submitted in a contest by a 20 year old. The contest was Titled "u @50". This video won second place. When they showed it, everyone in the room was awe-struck and broke into spontaneous applause. So simple and yet so brilliant. Take a minute and watch it. http://www.youtube. com/watch? v=42E2fAWM6rA Continue

A BUCKET OF SHRIMP. . . . . . . GREAT,GREAT TRUE STORY

It happened every Friday evening, almost without fail, when the sun resembled a giant orange and was starting to dip into the blue ocean. Old Ed came strolling along the beach to his favorite pier. Clutched in his bony hand was a bucket of shrimp. Ed walks out to the end of the pier, where it seems he almost has the world to himself. The glow of the sun is a golden bronze now. Everybody's gone, except for a few joggers on the beach. Standing out on the end of the pier, Ed is alone with his tho… Continue

Wasp Spray - might be helpful ;o)

I have a friend who is a receptionist in a church in a high risk area who was concerned about someone coming into the office on Monday to rob them when they were counting the collection. She asked the local police department about using pepper spray and they recommended to her that she get a can of wasp spray instead. The wasp spray, they told her,can shoot up to twenty feet away and is a lot more accurate, while with the pepper spray they have to get too close to you and could overpower you.… Continue

Happy Memorial Day

This Memorial Day weekend we remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and we pray for the men and women who currently stand in the gap for our protection: Dear Heavenly Father, As we remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, we think of how they have followed in the footsteps of your son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. Please hold our service men and women in your strong arms. Cover them with your sheltering grace and presence as they stand in t… Continue

For all the Mum's out there : )

Photobucket Mothers are the place where love Emerges from the earth, And happiness rings out like bells In honor of our birth. Mothers are the sun that lights For life our inner sky, So we may know that we are loved And need not question why. Mothers are the moon that shines Upon our black despair, So even when we weep, we know That someone's always ther… Continue

Blessings...

An Angel says, 'Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.' 1. Pray 2. Go to bed on time. 3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed. 4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health. 5. Delegate tasks to capable others. 6. Simplify and unclutter your life. 7. Less is more. (Although one is often not en… Continue

You're My Sunshine

A Boy Singing to his little sister...... You are My Sunshine, My only Sunshine' (Be prepared to get watery eyes!) Like any good mother, when Karen found out that another baby was on the way, she did what she could to help her 3-year-old son, Michael, prepare for a new sibling. They found out that the new baby was going be a girl, and day after day, night after night, Michael sang to his sister in mommy's tummy. He was building a bond of love with his little sister before he even met he… Continue

A lil dedication to all the Mum's and yep single Dad's too..smiles

Awesome Mom and Dad Before I was a Mom or Dad, I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations. Before I was a Mom or Dad, I had never been puked on. Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on. I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts. I slept all night. Before I was a Mom or Dad, I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.. Or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes a… Continue
