A family member

What type of cancer are you dealing with?

I've had several family members lose their battle with cancer, however I can't tell you I know what you are going thru, because each person has his/her own burden to bear. I do know the toll it takes on family members, the irony being that you want them well and want them Called Home should they be terminal..The suffering they go thru is unbearable. I will tell this sad episode in our family..... I had a niece she and I were very close, she was diagnosed with cancer, she went thru chemo...radiation could not be used, else she would have gone thru that....I had just moved to GA with my family, but when she was let out of the hospital I went back home to TX to take care of her, you see I was a nurse, and I say was, because I'm not in nursing any longer, but the point here is.... that two days before I had to go back to GA , I got on my knees and prayed to God, to either get her well or take her home so she wouldn't suffer any more... God called her home...... to this day I know God answered my prayer, some might say but she didn't make it.... well I'm here to say she did make it.... and is in God's kingdom free of pain and suffering...... to this day when I hear Silent Night it's like yesterday.....that is the last song she played so it stays in my heart ....and now my tears are rolling because I feel her presence and I know how much she suffered and how happy she is now...they say mourning is for the living, because the person you are mourning has gone HOME and is at peace....
