lil about my Life
Actually Cancer was a issue in my life befor 2003 as my Mum had instestinal cancer. Lucky it could be removed and cleared.Bless her and my Dad wherever there are now, cause the both become my Guardian Angels !!
Christmas 2003 our Life had to deal with another battle cause my ,at the time 15 yr old daughter Carina .got diagnozed with Agressive Fibromatosies. They thought it could be removed , but during the surgery they saw it was (is ) all over her abdomen area..the main part is on her liver ..If there is a good thing about cancer , then we are lucky in a way..it is not the type which will spread into other areas..its like a wild growing tissues which will kinda push her organs out the way..
Her first kemo was the worse one , she lost her hair and all, went down to 85 lbs and it was a nightmare for almost a yr to get her back on her feet.,but never stopped the tumor growing.and we spend the most time in hospital..( thats when I started to sing , to stop my soul from freezing)
Carina then changed to a treatment with tamoxifen40 tablets twice per day..which stopped the tumor growing for another 1 1/2 year..and then we switched to MTX and Vinblastin..which was a weekly chemo treatment for 3 yrs and now we back on Tamoxifen..so the body can recover from the mtx and the bloodlaps get healthier..
In this whole time we wasn't able to shrink it but stopping it to grow is a big issue so we happy with it for now.and she is doing good and moving on to start on her job training..
Their have been a lot of things I've noticed over the last 5 yrs, especially of family and friends of cancer patient..9 out of 10 times they get pampered round the clock..let them be their self and motovitate them to do thing alone as much as they can and for god sake leave the pitty stuff in the draw, it wont help anybody ;o))
I know their are a lot of sad crying times..times where you lose hope , faith , where you get mad and hate anything or anyone who wants to help during a cancer sickness and its easier to sit back and give up..but hey when you fight ..yeah you can lose , but if you dont bother fighting you have already lost ..dont matter how long this battle will go on..

Just a Biker
I got this today of a friend and it took me back to my Youth , where I lost my first Soulmate cause some Cardriver had to throw his Sodacan out the window and till today I notice this Ignoranz and rudness.

FRIENDS
A little girl had been shopping with her Mom in Target. She must have been 6 years old, this beautiful red haired, freckle faced image of innocence. It was pouring outside. This is one of the kindest things you may ever see..
It is not known who replied, but there is a beautiful soul working in the dead letter office of the US postal service.
Our 14 year old dog, Abbey, died last month. The day after she died, my 4 year old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey.. She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her. I told her that I thought we could so she dictated these words:… Continue

I arrived at the address and honked the horn. After waiting a few minutes
I walked to the door and knocked.. 'Just a minute', answered a frail, elderly voice. I could hear something being dragged across the floor.
After a long pause, the door opened. A small woman in her 90's stood before me. She was wearing a print dress and a pillbox hat with a veil pinned on it, like somebody out of a 1940's movie.
By her side was a small nylon suitcase. Th e apartment looked as if no one had lived in it… Continue

- Hi Tina...thank you for your note of encouragement and I'm sorry it took me so long to respond...I've had some health issues myself and this is the first chance I've had to get in here to respond to everyone. I read about your daughter and admire your attitude. I pray that you can keep the cancer from growing and better yet...it gets shrunk and cured! God still performs miracles! Sorry for being such a stranger. Yes we had our big move to BC and unfortunately I had a few health problems after we arrived here. Spent months going back and forth to hospital and finally they have found something that keeps me pain free most of the time. I haven't even been singing on SS since the beginning of January. The good news is that I do feel much better now and am able to do a lot of the things that I couldn't for the longest time. I hope all is well with you and your daughter. Even though I haven't been around much, I do continue to keep everyone in my thoughts and prayers. Will try to come around more often. Thank you for thinking of me.... :-)
