We are still uncertain as to weather Mel is in stage 3 or stage 4 of cancer. There was a biopsy done on Tues. in two different areas of his body...one in his spine and one in his lung...we still don't know the results. He is having radiation treatments in his shoulder which is where most of his pain is centered at this time. He is getting around with a cane and we will have a wheel chair delivered through hospice tomorrow morning.

Prayer is powerful in numbers or alone. Continue to pray for all of our wonderful friends here. MikeL, MsRandee, and many others, now to include Mel..

Do you have Cancer or Or someone you know?: A family member

What type of cancer are you dealing with?

My Mother (Amber Fox) had Breast Cancer. My husband's late wife (Barbara Lee Cohen) had and passed away from Melanoma Cancer.

I also had a form of Cervical Cancer. Called Displazia (not sure of the spelling). It was diagnosed when I became pregnant. They did 3 different freezings and finally had to remove the center of my Cervix. It was in the 3rd lining. If it would have hit the 4th, it would have been full blown Cancer and would have had to have had my Cervix removed. Thank God it didn't go any further then it had. Unfortunetly because of this I was informed that I had to Medically Abort the child I was pregnant with...This was NOT something I wanted to do. I was informed I had no choice and had several different opinions. Medical, Spirtual, and family and friends...But thank the Lord above, I am here today.
