Hi, My Name is Mike..
Wanted to tell my a lil about my fight with cancer.. I was diagnosed at 43 with prostate cancer. Doctor said i was very young for it but he can fix me right up.. That was in December of 03 i had my first surgery. They removed my prostate 7 lymph node and the nerves on the right side. Was told at that time i was good to go. They got it all.. in 05 i was told it was back and this time at the head of my bladder. we did radiation and chemo because of fears it was in my lymph nodes.. Once again i was told they got it all and i was as good as new.. Late 07 found out it is back again. still on and in my bladder.. It has been a long fight and i am still fighting..

One think i wish i would have known the doctors make it all sound so easy we will go in find it take it out and you will be good as new. They don't tell you about the mental war you have to live with.. I have not told many on line about my fight as a man prostrate cancer is a very difficult thing to live with.. It takes so much away form you that you don't feel like a man at times.. I have had some very bad times with depression. even telling this on here is hard.. I have been told that radiation will not work

They are telling me that if i had "Normal" bladder cancer they could fix it easy.. however mine is a result of the prostate caner having metastasized.. So what they call normal treatment will not work.. so we are on to the next step.. ( Still not sure what they mean by "Normal"
